Foam Flower
Tiarella 'Black Velvet' Requirements: Soil Type - Most
Characteristics: Height - 1 ft.
Foam Flowers are great to use in deep shady areas. They bloom in early spring as the trees are leafing out so won't reach for the light as they flower. Tiarellas will retain their foliage throughout the season and in warmer climates they may even be 'evergreen'. Foam Flowers prefer moist soil and will do poorly if allowed to dry out. Mulch or enough watering to keep the soil moist is about all the care they need. |
