Hosta
Hostas are another plant that are a challenge to kill. I once dug up one and placed it in an old plastic sled and forgot about it. A couple years later I saw some flowers sticking out of the weeds in the rough area near the house and went to check it out. To my surprise that Hosta was thriving even thought the soil was less than an inch deep after settling out.
