Helenium autumnale
Requirements: Soil Type - moist, sandy loam
Characteristics: Height - 2 -5 ft.
This is probably an escaped garden variety. But it is too close to call. Garden varieties and the wild plants along the Oswegatchie river are almost identical. Other garden varieties of autumnale have orange shaded flowers |
