Characteristics:

Height - Depends on variety, ¼ to 10 in.
Time of Bloom - Depending on variety - Spring - Summer

Thyme prefers dry loose soil and is an aggressive spreader. In bloom Thyme is a carpet of purple and depending on variety will grow from under and inch high to 8 inches.
