Devil's Paintbrush Hieracium aurantiacum Orange Hawkweed is a naturalized alien with hairy leaves that form basal rosettes. Now common as a wildflower it is rare in garden settings. Competive in dry conditions Hawkweeds in bloom creates a low orange haze over many meadows in the north country.
