Hawkweeds and Bluets are commonally found in the same areas as Pussytoes. Grazed pastures with short grasses are the best areas to locate pussytoes. Look in rocky areas with sandy poor soils and full sun. Without competition pussytoes will spread with runner like growth forming a low thick mat.
