Ninja Deer – Frog Prince

2010
Jun 26

I knew they were around. Someone has been eating my Hostas, Daylily flowers and Phlox tops.

Ninja Deer

Ninja Deer

deer out the window   Actually all I need to do is look out the window to see who’s eating my Phlox. The deer don’t bother sneaking in anymore, they walk in like they own the place.

This deer actually understood my French and got the %$*@ out of there.

The garden pond is getting crowded.
At last count there were 27 potential princes with no girls in sight.

Frog Prince

I need a kiss

Unfortunately for my wife, kissing me has no effect. I’m still a toad.

The deer are cute too(-: They are just hungry and want to enjoy your smorgasbord(-:

Try Deer Off. I think it’s by Havahart, but it’s out in the shed and I don’t feel like running out to look. It’s a little expensive at first, but, after the deer get the idea that day lilies and hosta are yucky, you don’t have to apply it so often.

Ah, well, not having deer is one advantage of being surrounded by freeways. And the birds can still come to my garden. Though I’m sorry to say, no frogs so far.

    Great picture!

Those ninja deer are sneaky when they want to be. I guess now they think they’re tough guys though. A woman once told me that a deer chased her in her house when she tried to shoo it out of her flowers. Maybe she could turn that frog into a prince to give her some protection.

Our ninja deer aren’t so ninja either. I just hope they don’t start ringing our doorbell looking for handouts :P But wait…I thought deer didn’t like daylilies? Seems I was misinformed…I’ll have to plant my daylily transplants elsewhere!

Nice frog pic. Isn’t amazing how french can just role off the tongue when you need it!

wow bilingual deer that’s pretty cool. I like the frog picture but certainly not enough to give him a kiss.
